High efficiency of the new form of advertising - photo envelope.
The main media planing and outdoor advertising agency from Russia in cooperation with Kodak partners have introduced a new advertising tool on the Russian market, in order to advance brands among active consumers. It’s a unique product within marketing communications – advertising printing on photo envelopes.
Nowadays, printing advertising on envelopes is accessible to a wide range of producers of goods and services. Such advertising reaches directly the active consumers. The researches at Moscow (the situation in Chisinau being similar) showed that 80% of the population has at least one photo envelope at home. The target audience of such advertising consists of active consumers, with constant earnings, who love life and its valuable instants.
This kind of advertising is a new possibility of advancing brands among active consumers. It’s well known, that 95% o photos embody the most pleasant and joyful events of peoples’ life, the positive attitude subconsciously associates with the advertising printed on a photo envelope.
The “Advertising Efficiency” agency took Siemens Company's order to promote Siemens C60 mobile phone. About 1 million envelopes were spread by local photo-stores and every photo envelope contained a card with the Siemens C60 image.

Advertising on envelopes:
- Photo envelopes are spread within Foto Rapid stores, and optionally within other photo stores from Moldova.
- The photo envelope is functional. About 70 % of envelopes are used to hand over photos and keep them for a long period of time, so the number of contacts with the advertising increases.
- The envelopes are printed offset, this enables a qualitative printing of the information and image.
- The envelopes are used up – about 30.000 copies monthly by Foto Rapid chain, and about 200.0000 copies within all the country.
